The Plumbing Foreman is responsible for the management crews, proper and timely installation of plumbing to new and existing construction projects. Applicants should be well rounded in various trades and willing to jump in where needed. 





  • Follow instruction from department heads.
  • Lay out, install and properly assemble plumbing systems.
  • Review blueprints and codes to determine optimal work procedures.
  • Trains, motivates, and encourage employees to learn more.
  • Able to organize, coordinate, and supervise all phases from underground to trim.
  • Prioritize work and coordinate crew and activities accordingly.
  • Attend meetings coordinating w/GC, other contractors, and GEMCO management team.
  • Push construction progress and crew to complete project on time and under budget.
  • Enforce conformity, completion of task, and QC.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and proper use of PPE.



  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts and specification (structural, architectural, civil, plumbing and cut sheets)
  • Have basic hand tools and know how to use properly and safely. 


 Able to work with a vast range of materials and know proper installation of products listed below but not limited too.

  • PVC DWV sch 40
  • CPVC sch 40 & 80
  • PEX
  • Uponor
  • Cast Iron
  • Copper sweat, brazing & propress
  • Carriers for WC, EWC, Lav, and urinals
  • Hangers and supports
  • Roof drains
  • Water heaters
  • Set all types of fixtures for finish Ice machines



  • 6+ years of plumbing commercial experience with 3 years working foreman experience
  • Plumbing State license Master or Journeyman card preferred but required.
  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of all phases of building construction, including work commonly done by the various building crafts.
  • Knowledge of plumbing and structural systems.
  • Knowledge of building materials, tools, and machines.

Physical Requirements:

  • The position may require standing, bending, reaching, lifting a majority of the work day.
  • Lift repetitively 50 pounds.
  • Climb ladders.
  • Work from scaffolding and lifts.
  • Other manual labor as required.
